I'm an engineer who enjoys going one layer deeper: not only asking what happened, but understanding why.

My work often starts with a messy problem — unstable process behaviour, operational data that needs context, or a workflow that is too manual. I like breaking those problems down, modelling them, testing assumptions, and building something useful from the result.

That has led me across process simulation, engineering analysis, data visualisation, dashboards, automation, and web applications. I enjoy the space where technical thinking meets practical execution.

I don't particularly enjoy stopping at the first explanation.

Whether I'm looking at a process simulation, a spreadsheet, or a piece of software, I tend to ask: what is actually driving this behaviour?

Then I try to make the answer clearer — through analysis, visualisation, modelling, or a tool that makes the next decision easier.
